There are three major groups of users in the online job application system - Human Resource (HR) Administrators, Hiring Managers and Applicants. In JobXP version 2008.04, we'll make it easier to communicate job openings and application status between these groups.
Email Subscription
In the first release of JobXP, the HR admin would get email notifications when applicants complete and submit the application form. The HR admin then notify the Hiring Managers of potential candidates. In JobXP version 2008.04, email subscription was further enhanced:
- HR admin can subscribe Hiring Managers by open position to get email notification of submitted job applications (figure 1)
- Potential candidates can subscribe and get email alert of new job openings (figure 2)
- HR admin can customize email notification templates
Members of the development team will provide detail about email subscription feature in future blogs.

Printing Job Applications In PDF
In JobXP version 08.04, printing of job application to PDF will be supported on the server side. There is no need to install expensive PDF writer software on the client Pcs to export job applications to PDF. It saves time and money.
HR administrators and Hiring Managers can print job application one by one or do a batch print of applications (figure 3). Once the application form is exported to PDF, it can be emailed out as attachment or saved it to local drive for off-line review.
