JobXP is an employment application and management system. The system provides a friendly GUI interface that performs certain functions according to the user’s security access through DotNetNuke security role and JobXP module permissions. (See sample in Figure 1).
The interface requires the job poster (Admin permission) to login to the DotNetNuke portal to enter job openings. The data entered is displayed for all users to view, search, and apply online. The displayed job titles directly link to an online application form that that allows the users to submit their job applications electronically. The data collected from the online job application forms are organized for Human Resource usage i.e. search and view job applications, running reports, etc. All users can see the job openings posted. To apply for a job online, all users must be registered. Managers can be granted permission to login and view or download the job applications. Admins are users who have permission to grant Manager Permission to DNN security roles. Admins also have permission to post jobs, process job applications, and run reports. This system cuts down on paper work since the applicants enter the data for you and is accessible to everyone 24x7.

Questions or comments - please post it in the forum.
Ever since the first release of the SSO module (back in Dec 2006), I often received inquiries related to module setup. The common questions have been:
- How to edit the web.config to add the connection string to point to the external database?
- Where to deploy the sql scripts to support SSO?
- How to import external users into DNN?
- How do I test the module?
The ICPC-SsoXP version 08.01.05 addresses the above common questions. In this release, you will no longer need to touch the web.config file. The connection string setting is now moved to the module Settings page. By default, it uses the DNN connection string which points to local DNN database.
The ReportXP 2008 enables the display of reports from MS SQL Reporting Services 2005 inside the DotNetNuke (DNN) portal. What's news in this release?
