Notes: At the time of writing this blog, I was not able to install the aDefHELPDESK module version 1.03.00 using MS SQL 200 backend. The module was installed fine using MSSQL version 2005.

Remove the System.Web.Extensions.dll file from the bin directory in your DotNetNuke website.
- Open the DotNetNuke installation folder (ex. on my machine, it is D:\dnn\DotNetNuke_04.09.02_Source\Website)
- Open bin folder
- Delete System.Web.Extensions.dll

Modify the web.config of your DotNetNuke site
- Open the DotNetNuke installation folder (ex. on my machine, it is D:\dnn\DotNetNuke_04.09.02_Source\Website)
- Open web.config file using notepad
- Add new section (see this link for detail)
